#2 Better scoring rate
There isn’t much to be said about this aspect of their games, except for writing down their statistical achievements in this regard and then comparing the two. Despite the fact that Mbappe is two years younger than his Brazilian counterpart, his scoring-rate is astonishing, to say the least.
While Gabriel Jesus enjoys a very good scoring rate in Europe, Kylian Mbappe still exceeds him in overall matters. The Frenchman has scored 33 goals from 72 appearances with a ratio of 0.45 goals-per-game. Meanwhile, Jesus has 44 goals in 110 appearances at a ratio of 0.4 goals-per-game.
This stat alone proves Mbappe’s abilities, which is also further glorified when one considers the fact that the former Monaco starlet primarily plays on the wings, unlike Gabriel Jesus – who almost always starts from the centre.
This makes his scoring rate even more impressive and it is for this very reason as to why so many clubs had their tongues lolling out for him this past summer.
