5 reasons why Kylian Mbappe is better than Gabriel Jesus

Mbappe is a star already

#1 Better all-round abilities

Sporting CP v AS Monaco - Pre-Season Friendly
Is there anything Mbappe can't do?

A no-brainer of sorts, when one watches Kylian Mbappe dazzle the opponents with the ball at his feet, it becomes apparent that he is a supreme talent that appears in the fraternity once in a decade. It is actually hard to figure out what he can’t do.

In retrospect, Gabriel Jesus is a fantastic player – of this, there is no doubt – but lags behind the French star in terms of all-round abilities. Don’t believe it? Here is some statistical proof:

Gabriel Jesus has made 0.6 dribbles-per-game and 0.8 key passes-per-game this season while Kylian Mbappe has made 3 dribbles-per-game and 1.8 key passes-per-game so far this season.

Even to the naked eye, one can infer that the teenager has much more to his game than the Brazilian. When congested with no room to breathe, Mbappe uses his brilliant ball-control abilities to bail himself out of crammed situations.

He doesn’t really have to rely on his team-mates to score goals and can create something out of nothing with his abilities - something that we are yet to see in Jesus on the same scale.

Keeping in mind the aforementioned points, it isn't hard to conclude by saying that Kylian Mbappe is certainly the more talented youngster. Well, at this point in their careers, at least.
