Don’t judge a book by its cover, they say, but people do just that. You won’t see a less-than-great looking player become the face of football – the face has to be beautiful along with having the ability. Messi has both. While good looks shouldn’t really be the attribute with which people form opinions on others, it is what really happens.

When one looks at the Barcelona star, they are instantly inclined to believe that he is a good and innocent person. That’s what having a chocolate-boy face does for you. With a face like Messi’s - seeping with innocence, you can basically kill puppies and still get away with it.
