Can he do the impossible?

#3 - Most goals scored in a single Copa del Rey season

The Legend

Another Real Madrid record held by Ferenc Puskás. He scored 14 goals in the competition during the 1960-61 season in Copa del Rey and that’s the record ever since.

The most Ronaldo has ever managed during a single season is seven. Reason? He doesn't play in most of the Copa Del Rey matches. The Portugal star is usually ‘rested’ for these matches.

The Spanish cup is now used mostly by managers to use players who are on the bench during the league matches and to try out youth players. Ronaldo can break this record, but he hardly plays in Cup games ever since his Manchester United days.
