Paris Saint-Germain have looked so superior to their domestic opponents so far this season that it might just be possible for them to become the first unbeaten champions in the history of Ligue 1. Even in matches where their collective play has not been entirely convincing, their sheer firepower has been enough to see them through.

As noted previously, they have already played the rest of the top five, recording four wins and one draw in the process. They came away from Marseille with a 2-2 draw, while their visit to reigning champions Monaco resulted in a 2-1 victory. On paper, their trip to Olympique Lyonnais in late January represents their toughest remaining domestic fixture.

Avoid defeat there and they will have every chance of earning the title once given to Arsenal: The Invincibles.
