This is yet another record set by Mohamed Salah, which encapsulates what a staggering season he had last year. He is the first player in history to be named the Premier League’s Player of the Month three times in a single season, winning the prize during the 2017/18 season in November, February, and March.
While team awards are undoubtedly the most important in football, individual awards are also something all footballers dream about. Winning one Player of the Month award is a great honor, but for Mohamed Salah to win three of these coveted awards in a single Premier League season is incredible. The fact that players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Suarez, and Henry couldn't achieve this feat during their tenures in England makes this record even better.
