The Portuguese joined Juventus last summer after he impressed at Inter Milan on loan from Valencia. Though most of the attention was on Cristiano Ronaldo, Cancelo did very well and many believe he was their best signing last season.
He is only 25 years old and is undoubtedly one of the best right backs in world football right now. Cancelo is known more for his attacking game but this doesn't mean he takes his defensive duties lightly.
If reports are believed to be true then Canelo is close to a switch to the Etihad. Juventus have been linked with big names in the transfer market including de Ligt, Paul Pogba, etc. Thus, they will need money to buy such top players.
For City, it would be wonderful as they will have two world-class right backs ready to fight for a place in the starting line up.
