If Manchester United do decide that cash is not a constraint, they need to look no further than Robert Lewandowski. While he has not been prolific so far in the league this season, the Polish Striker has a phenomenal record in front of goal. Last season, Lewandowski scored 41 goals from 48 games in all competitions, including 29 from 30 matches in the Bundesliga. In fact, since the 15/16 season, the Striker has hit 40 goals every year without fail.

This season, Lewandowski has 5 goals from 9 games in the league but has managed 13 goals from 15 games in all competitions already. He is a proven goalscorer and has the experience that United requires at the top of their attacking spear. The striker is still only 30, so he does have a few good years ahead of him, and can help young strikers like Rashford flourish under his guidance.
The problem is that he will not come cheap, as he is currently valued at £72m and Bayern will be reluctant to sell. His arrival would also most certainly mean the end of Lukaku's tenure at United, however, the two could be used in tandem to push each other to perform better.

Inspired by Diego Maradona, Deepungsu played as an attacking midfielder for his local club at subdivision level in his initial years and scored an important goal or two. However, his all-time favorite footballer is Lionel Messi, and evidently, he feels Argentina's glory in 2022 is his favorite FIFA World Cup moment for fulfilling his long-standing dream. He is also an ardent East Bengal fan.
Deepungsu has been a Manchester United supporter since the year 2000. Unsurprisingly, his favorite manager is Sir Alex Ferguson and the Scotsman helped him get through some of the toughest days of his life. Like the fiery Scot, Deepungsu also leaves no stone unturned when it comes to accuracy in articles and only relies on credible sources.
Despite believing in Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland to create an iconic rivalry, Deepungsu reckons no one can match the longevity of Messi and Ronaldo. He spends his leisure time writing about life on his blog, reading books, and playing the guitar.
