It would have surprised few to notice that a Pep Guardiola side tops this list. His insistence on keeping the ball is well documented.
Manchester City have the players to implement Guardiola's style of play. Even their starting goalkeeper, Ederson Moraes, is renowned for his comfort on the ball. City have world-class technical players capable of causing havoc with their ability on the ball.
Manchester City are currently second in the league, three points behind league leaders Chelsea. They are among the favourites to lift the Premier League and the Champions League. Guardiola will be especially keen to win the latter competition, having reached the final of the tournament last season.
