Wembley Stadium, the temporary home of Spurs

Wembley Stadium is one of the most historic and iconic venues in both English and European football.

With a capacity of 90,000, the venue has hosted multiple matches, especially the English cup finals as well as the final of the Champions League.

However, it is now the home of Tottenham Hotspur for the 2017/18 campaign as the club are having a new stadium constructed adjacent to their old and demolished, White Hart Lane.

Firstly, Wembley served as the home of Spurs only for the 2016/17 Champions League season.

The group stages did not pan out well last season as the North London club had a mediocre record in their temporary home.

However, this season has been a total contrast of last year as Pochettino's side had a 100% win record in the UCL qualifying for the Round of 16.

It took a time for Spurs to acclimatise to their new home in the Premier League as they failed to win their opening three matches.

But after they got their first win and the players found their feet, Wembley has become a stronghold for Tottenham, as they have won 10 of their home league matches and have been scoring lots of goals.

They have claimed impressive and dominant wins over the likes of Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Manchester United and Arsenal thus far.

The duo of Harry Kane and Heung Min Son love playing here, as they have scored in bunches and blown away the opposition.

The construction of the new stadium is expected to be completed this year in order to have it ready for the 2018/19 season.
