Fulham have their first win of the season

Qualification to the Europa League can be a great achievement, but it can hurt your Premier League campaign especially if you have a small squad like Burnley’s. They are learning that lesson the hard way.

On Sunday they were at the wrong end of a 4-2 defeat at Craven Cottage. Fulham took the lead through Jean Michaël Seri in the 4th minute, but Jeff Hendrick leveled the score. A double from Aleksandar Mitrović in the space of two minutes gave Fulham a 3-1 advantage.

James Tarkowski scored in the 41st minute to make the score 3-2 at half-time. André Schürrle then scored in the 83rd minute to make the score 4-2, giving Fulham their first win of the season.
