#3 Liverpool need to sign a decent attacker in January
It goes without saying Liverpool have the best attack in the Premier League right now, with Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane running riot in the division. However, the Reds need to reinforce their forward line to ensure they have reliable options to call upon when the need emerges.
That's because Mane and Salah will leave to represent their respective nations in the African Cup of Nations in January and February. There's always a huge drop in quality when Divock Origi and Takumi Minamino come in instead of the duo.
So Jurgen Klopp will need to find good options to provide answers in front of goal in the absence of his favoured duo. The January transfer presents him a good opportunity to do just that.
#2 Hope Virgil van Dijk stays fit
Just as we've witnessed in the last few seasons, Liverpool's campaign greatly depends on the fitness of Virgil van Dijk. The Reds were a pale shadow of their illustrious selves in the Premier League last term when the Dutchman spent several months on the sidelines.
This season, though, they've been boosted by the return of the centre-back. But they'll certainly need to take good care of him to keep their title hopes intact. Jurgen Klopp must look after his defensive powerhouse, rest him when necessary and ensure he stays at the top of his game at the business end of the season.
With Virgil van Dijk in good shape, Liverpool would be strong contenders against anyone in the Premier League. Moreover, it wouldn't be a bad idea to look at the transfer window for reliable options to reduce the burden on the Dutchman.
#1 Keep Mohamed Salah in top shape
It wouldn't be far-fetched to say Mohamed Salah's incredible level of performance is the main reason why Liverpool can dream of winning the Premier League this season. The Egyptian has been a huge revelation since the beginning of the campaign, providing answers in front of goal to keep the Reds moving.
So far this season, the attacker has recorded an impressive haul of six goals and three assists in seven Premier League appearances for Liverpool. That includes a couple of big-game performances against Chelsea and Manchester City.
Mohamed Salah is in red-hot form right now. So Liverpool need to take good care of him and ensure they ride on his brilliance to claim the English crown. With the Egyptian firing on all cylinders, they surely have a great chance of coming out on top this season.
