5 things Manchester United should avoid next season

#2 Rely just on Lukaku for the goals

2018 FA Cup Football Semi Final Tottenham Hotspur v Man Utd Apr 21st

Romelu Lukaku scored 4 goals in the recently concluded FIFA World Cup as Belgium finished 3rd in Russia. The towering Belgium centre-forward carried on his amazing form from the Premier League on to the world and delivered for his nation on the big stage.

Romelu Lukaku was probably United's best signing last summer as the Belgian top-scored for the Red Devils with 27 goals to his name.

Lukaku is a potent forward capable of hurting defences around Europe. Manchester United do know that they have a proper number 9 in their squad but the problem is they just the one. Keeping Lukaku aside for a moment, united lack centre-forwards.

With Zlatan Ibrahimovic's move to the MLS, United are a striker short. Romelu Lukaku is a prolific goalscorer but Manchester United do need someone to take the burden off the broad shoulders of Lukaku every now and then.

Jose Mourinho needs to look either in the current squad or in the market but a goalscorer is definitely required.
