Manchester United managed to breeze past St.Etienne in the Round of 32 last week and have been drawn against Russian side Rostov for the Round of 16. The main challenge for the Red Devils is the long trip they have to make, amidst their busy fixture schedule.
Jose Mourinho’s men will then have to make the trip to London to take on Chelsea in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup. It will be interesting to see if the Portuguese manager decides to make any drastic changes to his side for the first-leg against Rostov.
In the other noteworthy ties in the Europa League Round of 16, Lyon host Roma, while it is an all-German tie as Borussia Monchengladbach visit Schalke.
