Arsenal are still in the race for the top four.

This match was Arsenal as we know them: slick, smart, strong and clinical. Everton were poor but one can rightly make the argument that even if they were at their best, they still would've lost.

Beside manager Arsene Wenger's decisions, the biggest frustration for Gunners fans is their side's inconsistency. They tend to follow-up these brilliant performances with their most shocking ones and that is something they will want to put an end to if they are going to properly challenge for a place in the top four.

More of the same will definitely be required in the next few weeks, as they next face Tottenham Hotspur and a cup final against Manchester City either side of a two-legged Europa League last 32 clashes with Ostersunds.

Whether this victory over Everton was a simple flash in the pan or a promising turn around in form is sure to be determined in these upcoming games.
