#2 Manuel Neuer (Bayern Munich)
The German international is regarded as one of the best goalkeepers of all time. Neuer started his career with Schalke 04 and moved to Bayern Munich when he was 25. The 31-year-old has won 5 back-to-back Bundesliga titles with Bayern. He also has won UEFA Champions League title in 2012/13.
Neuer is known for his outstanding reflexes, shot-stopping abilities, and footwork. He reads the game well and is one of the best sweeper-keepers in the world. He was unlucky to miss out on the Ballon d'Or in 2014. Neuer has played 74 times for Germany and led them to their fourth World cup win in 2014.
He is one of the better-paid goalkeepers in the world and currently earns £130,000-a-week at the Allianz Arena. He is also expected to lead Germany again this summer in their bid for successive World Cup glory.
