#4 David de Gea
Another player that Manchester United have and Madrid would rather have is David de Gea. Every transfer season it has looked like it was going to happen, but it has never materialized.
Despite having signed a goalkeeper during last summer’s transfer window, Real Madrid will surely want to finally sign David de Gea. Forget his form in the just-concluded Premier League season, De Gea is still one of the best keepers in the world today.
He has been one of the wildly-criticized players for Manchester United after their recent struggles this season and he may just feel it is time to move on. The club has also not secured him for a long-term deal and may feel like this is the right time to cash in on him while he still has a substantial resale value.
If Real Madrid can push for a deal this season, especially with United in turmoil, they may well end up lucky and finally get their man.
