#3 Marcus Rashford | €80 million
Manchester United academy graduate Marcus Rashford has quickly established himself as one of the most loved footballers of his generation. The Englishman's free meals initiative to cater to the underprivileged children in the UK has earned him plaudits universally, while he has matured into a wonderful player on the pitch.
Manchester United's golden boy burst onto the scene under Louis van Gaal and has gradually become a key player for club and country, as he looks set to lead the line for his boyhood club for many years to come. Rashford is another forward who has improved his game under Solskjaer, with the youngster's looking increasingly like the real deal in the past 12 months.
The 22-year-old is valued at €80 million, but it could be argued that he is absolutely priceless for his humanitarian work amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
#2 Bruno Fernandes | €80 million
Bruno Fernandes has taken the Premier League by storm since sealing a big-money move to Manchester United in January 2020. The Portuguese midfielder is an absolute livewire and has been lauded for his long-range shooting, set-piece ability and leadership qualities.
Fernandes has been a breath of fresh air for Manchester United and almost single-handedly spearheaded to a third-place finish in the Premier League last season. The former Sporting midfielder has started the current season strongly and looks like he's carried on from where he left off in 2019-20.
He is valued at €80 million by transfermarkt, but Manchester United fans will argue that he is more far more than that due to his stunning impact in his short Old Trafford stint thus far.
#1 Paul Pogba | €80 million
In the summer of 2016, Jose Mourinho broke the bank to bring Paul Pogba back to Old Trafford. The Red Devils lost the prodigious midfielder on a free transfer to Juventus and has to part with a world-record fee of £89 million to secure his signature at the time.
While Pogba's talent is unquestionable, it goes without saying that his second stint at Manchester United has not gone as planned. The 27-year-old has not been able to add consistency to his game in over four seasons, as he continues to be linked with a move to Real Madrid.
Nevertheless, Pogba is one of Manchester United's prized assets and has a market value of €80 million. The signing of Fernandes has added more quality to the Red Devils midfield, meaning the Frenchman now has an able partner to weave his magic from the centre of the park.
He is arguably one of the best midfielders in the world on his day, but he doesn't perform consistently enough to be spoken about as a reliable matchwinner.
