#3 Nicolas Pepe (€38 million)
Arsenal broke their transfer record to sign Nicolas Pepe from Lille in 2019. The Ivorian joined the Gunners in a deal worth £72 million but has done little to justify his lofty price tag during his two seasons at the club.
Pepe scored just eight goals in 41 appearances in all competitions last season. He left fans and pundits frustrated due to his inconsistency and inability to have an impact in the big games.
Many believed Pepe would improve in his second season at the Emirates, as he would have got acclimatised to the English game. But the 26-year-old endured another largely forgettable campaign at Arsenal. Pepe did, however, have a strong finish to the Premier League season, scoring ten goals in 29 appearances.
Pepe's market value has dropped drastically since he joined Arsenal in 2019. However, the north London club are unlikely to sell their record signing this summer and will hope the player to come good in the near future.
#2 Thomas Partey (€45 million)
Thomas Partey was labelled as the 'signing of the summer' when he joined Arsenal from Atletico Madrid for £45 million last year. But the Ghanaian has only shown glimpses of his prowess during his first season with the Gunners, thanks to a spate of injuries and the absence of a top-quality midfield partner.
Partey made only 24 league appearances for Arsenal this season. To get more out of Partey, the Gunners are reportedly desperate to sign Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar ahead of next season.
The Ghanian international is currently valued at €45 million. Considering his pedigree, the former Atletico Madrid man is likely to be one of the players around whom Arsenal build a squad for next season.
#1 Bukayo Saka
Arguably Arsenal's best player this season, Bukayo Saka has developed into one of the Gunners' go-to man this season. The 19-year-old is already seen as the club's future and could be part of England's final squad for Euro 2020 this summer.
Saka has scored five goals and provided four assists in 32 appearances for Arsenal this season. But numbers do not fully describe Saka's impact on Mikel Arteta's squad.
Thanks to his imperious exploits, Saka's current market value is €65 million. The teenage sensation is considered priceless by the club hierarchy and one to look out for.
