The 2021-22 summer window is not a one-off success story for Chelsea's expert recruitment team. The Premier League side spent significant amounts on Kai Havertz, Timo Werner, Ben Chilwell, Hakim Ziyech and Edouard Mendy last season.
#1 Manchester City (£952m)
The Citizens have been the most successful Premier League club of the decade, winning as many as five league titles, two FA Cups and six EFL Cup trophies.
They have an expert manager in charge in the form of Pep Guardiola, who is good at bringing the best out of each of his players.
Kevin De Bruyne, the deadliest weapon in Manchester City's arsenal, saw his skills sharpened even further when he started training under the Spaniard. De Bruyne's current £90m price is significantly higher than the £68m Manchester City paid for him.
Players such as Ruben Dias, Ferran Torres, Raheem Sterling and Phil Foden are also huge contributors to Manchester City's £952m market valuation.
Jack Grealish was signed from another Premier League club Aston Villa recently for a British record £100m and is currently estimated to be worth around £58m.
