Manchester United v Everton FC - Premier League
Everything good that Solskjaer achieved in his short time at the helm of the Manchester United team was achieved by playing fast, fluid, counter attacking football. United relied on compact defending and speedy movement of the ball to affect their games.

When the opposition pressed them, they stayed true to their shape at the back. When the spaces opened up, they hit the opposition with the speed and precision of their forward players. This was a tactic that was embedded in the roots of United, as all great teams of old were built in this platform.
However, the team has not been effective in their counter attacking play in the past two games. It could be the lack of match fitness of their players, but United did not look threatening in the counter and it cost them both games. The build up was slow, there were miss-passes and the final ball was missing.
Solskjaer needs to ensure that his midfield stays creative and that his front runners stay fluid. Only then can United get back to winning ways.

Inspired by Diego Maradona, Deepungsu played as an attacking midfielder for his local club at subdivision level in his initial years and scored an important goal or two. However, his all-time favorite footballer is Lionel Messi, and evidently, he feels Argentina's glory in 2022 is his favorite FIFA World Cup moment for fulfilling his long-standing dream. He is also an ardent East Bengal fan.
Deepungsu has been a Manchester United supporter since the year 2000. Unsurprisingly, his favorite manager is Sir Alex Ferguson and the Scotsman helped him get through some of the toughest days of his life. Like the fiery Scot, Deepungsu also leaves no stone unturned when it comes to accuracy in articles and only relies on credible sources.
Despite believing in Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland to create an iconic rivalry, Deepungsu reckons no one can match the longevity of Messi and Ronaldo. He spends his leisure time writing about life on his blog, reading books, and playing the guitar.
