If you hate Real Madrid and Cristiano Ronaldo with a passion, you are more than likely to be a Barcelona fan. The Whites may have been voted the best club of the last decade, but Barcelona are the ones that have the most number of official trophies and, hence, deserve as much praise – if not more – than the Los Blancos.
Obviously, being in the shadow of Real Madrid for all these years, coupled with the Galacticos’ extravagant ways, it is understandable that Barca fans despise everything associated with the Madrid club. Moreover, they have the only player in the world that can stand toe-to-toe with Lionel Messi.
If it wasn’t for Cristiano Ronaldo, Messi would have had a lot more Ballon d’Ors to his name. In addition to that, the Portuguese’s beaming self-confidence that often borders on arrogance makes him an easy figure to loathe.
