Simon Davies was signed from Tottenham Hotspur for 4 million but he turned to be another disappointing player for Everton.
Though a lot was expected from the winger, he disappointed during his spell at the club. He lasted only a season and a half with the Toffees, with David Moyes deciding to cut his losses. Davies scored only one goal during his stay at Everton.
He had a relatively better time at Fulham, where he was transferred, finishing runners-up in the 2009/2010 Europa League, with 2 very important goals in the semi-final and the final.
