#3 Phil Foden - Manchester City
The Man City youth academy product caught the eye of the world when he became 'player of the tournament' for his performances in the Under-17 World Cup, where he led England to victory.
Foden has since made appearances from the bench in City's first team and has been impressive whenever given the chance. The majority of his opportunities have been in the pre-season, where he has displayed skill and maturity beyond his years.
With Kevin De Bruyne out for a few months with injury, Foden might just get a bigger role to play in the squad. It may be a chance for him to demonstrate to his coach and the world exactly what he can provide at the very top level.
Many English players through the years have taken the leap to become reliable first team assets. Foden might just be the next.
