#5 Matteo Guendouzi - Arsenal
The 19 year old acquisition from France was a surprise starter in the opening week against Manchester City. It proved to be a tough fixture but Guendouzi managed to impress in his debut.
The Frenchman plays in central midfield as a deep lying play-maker. He has incisive passing skills, and provides creativity as well as assurance from the back. For his age, Guendouzi looks very tactically aware and perhaps has to only work on his physical aspect to meet the demands of the Premier League.
To start him over other midfield options against the toughest club in England at the moment shows his manager's belief in him. This will go a long way in giving him much needed minutes this season. Guendouzi might just become crucial to the new side that Emery is building at Arsenal and the signs look good.
