Luke Shaw needs to stand up and be counted this season
Luke Shaw is now remembered as the boy who could not fulfill his potential, but people forget that he is still only 23 years old.

Shaw has been in the United ranks since 2014 when he joined from Southampton for £27m. But injuries and attitude problems have halted his progression and it did seem that he would never justify his potential.
However, Shaw has improved his attitude of late and has been working hard. Ashley Young's emergence as a left back came at a wrong time for him, but the boy has not given up yet. He had a decent preseason this time and looks ready finally.

United was linked with a few left backs as well this season and it is a sign of the manager's confidence in Luke Shaw that none of those deals were pursued.
Young's age will catch up with him soon, but even without that, this should finally be the season of Shaw. All he needs, once again, is a little trust from his manager.
Once again, game time is all that is required to build his confidence and to ensure he understands the players around him.

He is good going forward as well as defending with his back to the wall and his speed makes him a tricky proposition.
He needs to improve on his crossing though and with a little guidance from Jose, he should be sticking around for years.

Inspired by Diego Maradona, Deepungsu played as an attacking midfielder for his local club at subdivision level in his initial years and scored an important goal or two. However, his all-time favorite footballer is Lionel Messi, and evidently, he feels Argentina's glory in 2022 is his favorite FIFA World Cup moment for fulfilling his long-standing dream. He is also an ardent East Bengal fan.
Deepungsu has been a Manchester United supporter since the year 2000. Unsurprisingly, his favorite manager is Sir Alex Ferguson and the Scotsman helped him get through some of the toughest days of his life. Like the fiery Scot, Deepungsu also leaves no stone unturned when it comes to accuracy in articles and only relies on credible sources.
Despite believing in Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland to create an iconic rivalry, Deepungsu reckons no one can match the longevity of Messi and Ronaldo. He spends his leisure time writing about life on his blog, reading books, and playing the guitar.
