2: Paul Pogba
Man Utd: 7 appearances, 0 goals (2009 - 2012)
Juventus: 178 appearances, 34 goals (2012 - 2016)
Man Utd: 99 appearances, 19 goals (2016 - present)
Paul Pogba opted to take a contract offer from Juventus in 2012 rather than fight for a first-team place at United. But four years of establishing himself as one of the world's best-emerging talents saw his old club offer a world record £89m to buy him back.
Pogba has struggled to justify that price tag since returning to Old Trafford, failing to perform on a consistent basis. His allegedly poor relationship with Jose Mourinho has also been the fuel for much speculation that he could soon be leaving again.
However, speaking ahead of this week's game, Pogba acknowledged his great respect for Juve because of how he was given the chance to develop during his time in Turin, but stated, "I'm at home here (United) and it will always be that way."
