1: Cristiano Ronaldo
Man Utd: 292 appearances, 118 goals (2003 - 2009)
Juventus: 10 appearances, 5 goals (2018 - present)
It was as a United player that Cristiano Ronaldo emerged as a world-class star and won his first Ballon d'Or. Initially an inconsistent teenager, his form from 2006 onward took him to new levels and it required a world record offer for him to join Real Madrid in 2009.
After an incredible nine-year spell in Madrid, Ronaldo finally moved on this summer in a €100m move to Juventus where he now begins a new chapter of his historic career.
The 33-year-old Portuguese star has only faced United three times since leaving - twice during the 2012/13 season when Real Madrid met the Red Devils in the Champions League last 16, and once as a substitute in the 2017 UEFA Super Cup played in Macedonia.
