This is Liverpool's best start to EPL, ever

The Reds made their best ever start to a Premier League campaign by winning the first six games on the trot. And although the fairytale run ended with a 1-1 stalemate against Chelsea, Klopp's heavy metal gig remains unbeaten even after eight games now.

Only an inferior goal-difference currently places Liverpool in the third position. But what's more startling is that they've managed this despite Salah misfiring. Having set the league alight with imperious prowess the last term, the Egyptian ace has gone off the rails a bit in the new season, netting only thrice from eight appearances. And the last two games have also seen his strike partners Mane and Firmino cut a frustrated figure.

It is obviously difficult to emulate the standards they set in the last season and the goal would come eventually. But it's more important to see how long can the Red sustain this rich vein of form.
