Passing of the baton?

The United academy is famed for producing some of the best players in world football which includes an illustrious list from David Beckham, Ryan Giggs, Gary Neville and many more. One such youngster who is destined to be the next United great is young 18-year-old Angel Gomes.

Gomes is a special talent and the youngest winner of the Jimmy Murphy Young Player of the Year. He is also the youngest player to make a debut for Manchester united, making his debut at the age of 16 years and 263 days against Crystal Palace when he replaced Wayne Rooney in the closing stages of the game.

Angel primarily operates as a No. 10 but can play on the right as well as on the left. He has brilliant balance and close control which enables him to glide past opponents. The Englishman possesses good vision and an eye for a killer pass. His movement is pretty good and he is a deadly finisher.

Angel Gomes could form a lethal partnership with compatriot Phil Foden for England in the future and leave fans salivating at the prospect of the two magicians weaving their magic for the three Lions.
