The Champions registered 13 wins by a margin of three or more goals last season, setting another new Premier League high among several other records. In the month of September, Man City scored 16 goals in three matches that included a 5-0 beating of Liverpool.

City averaged two wins per month by a three-goal difference as they cruised to the maiden league title under Pep Guardiola. This was one of the best differentials that set the Citizens apart from previous Premier League Champions in their conquest of English top flight football in 2017/18.
