After lifting the Champions League trophy last season, Zidane is on course to win his 1st league title as coach, and Madrid’s 1st since 2012.
The former Ballon d’Or winner is enjoying his time at the Santiago Bernabeu since taking over. His side last lost a league game at home against rivals Atletico, last February. They have managed to score 36 goals (a little over 2.5 goals/game) and have conceded 14.
On 10th December 2016, Real Madrid fell 2-1 behind at home against Deportivo, and it looked like they were heading for defeated before goals from Mariano and Ramos saved their super winning streak
First Mariano levelled with just 6 minutes to go, and in the 2nd minute of stoppage time Ramos headed in Kroos’ corner, and extended the unbeaten streak to 35 games.
