Dear Special One,
The memories of you sitting in an awkward position, with a completely frustrated look on your face brings tears of joy. Miss those days when a game against Sunderland and Fulham meant a complete goal-fest. Those chants, those celebrations, those pre-match controversies and the way you got sent off for silencing those Liverpools fan after a Steven Gerrard own goal. Ah those days! Watching you on Chelsea TV having fun moments with the boys, making them feel like a family just made me proud. When will you come back home? Even though we might have just found your successor everyone still misses you and your acts. Spain and Madrid seem so far away, and you know you will never be as happy as you were in England and nor will you ever be loved by other fans as you were loved by the Shed End. Forget talking, even writing a letter to someone like you makes me bend my face down in shame. Your poster on my wall just stares at me, when will the time come when I get to see you give instructions to John Terry? The highest league points in Spain (100), England (95) & Portugal (86) were all achieved by you at Real Madrid, Chelsea and FC Porto and that is when I asked myself. How did Roman let you leave?
Your first interview might not have convinced us of your stature and what is to come but you gave us the feeling of never bowing our heads down in front of other clubs. You gave us legends in the form of Didier Drogba, Petr Cech, Ashley Cole and made the names of John Terry and Frank Lampard immortal in our hearts. You showed the pensioners the right way to play- with flair, spirit and enthusiasm. When Drogba came, there were huge amounts of skepticism. You called a press conference only to tell the world to judge Drogba when he would leave the club and look at the situation now. A legend turned a player into a world-class superstar, a big man for the big moments. You made us come face to face with destiny and fate with two back to back championships and the famous FA Cup title win at the new Wembley. By far, the most memorable quote of yours was when you said that the Premier League was out on loan to Manchester United for a season . You are a winner, hero, legend, and a true blue of Stamford Bridge.
And before you left, you reminded us you will come back to England because once a person is a part of Chelsea, his blood will always remain blue.
We Miss You,On behalf of Chelsea Fans
