The Bundesliga side are reportedly inching closer towards the signing of Kevin-Prince Boateng, after the 30-year old underwent a medical with the German club.

The former AC Milan star was in good form last season with La Liga side - Las Palmas, scoring 10 goals in 28 La Liga appearances, and will soon make a return to the Bundesliga, where he previously played for Schalke.

The Bayern Munich midfielder has fallen several rungs down the pecking order in the German club. Despite being linked to Manchester United initially this summer, no move materialized.

The 20-year old is keen to leave in search of first team football and Germany seem to be open to losing the Portuguese, for an appropriate offer.

Latest reports from Goal.com suggest that AC Milan are closing in with a £31 million for Sanches and could take him away to Italy before the window closes.
