Inter Milan have been an active entity in the transfer window this summer, having already bought 6 new players. The Nerazzurri will look to start the forthcoming season positively and are looking for a couple more signings before the window closes.

According to the Daily Cannon, the Serie A side are targeting Arsenal defender Shkodran Mustafi, who is deemed as surplus to requirements at the Emirates. While it is unlikely that the Gunners will sell their man, a loan deal may be a potential alternative.

English Premier League champions had been intent on signing the left-back this summer. Speculation spread like forest fire and many even thought that the deal was close to completion, despite Juventus claiming that they wouldn't sell the player.
