Rome, Sep 26 (IANS) AC Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri insisted his side would be in a better position before the Christmas after fighting back for a 3-3 draw against Bologna in an Italian Serie A match.
The draw Wednesday left the Milan side with only five points from as many games, but Allegri rejected any alarmist talk, reports Xinhua.
“Before Christmas we will be in another position. At the moment things aren’t going well and we dropped points along the way, but we have everything it takes to get back on track,” he said.
“We have conceded too many goals, on average two per game, so must improve our concentration levels,” he said.
“We have got to improve in defence, but also in attack, seeing as we only convert about 30 percent of our scoring opportunities. Alessandro Matri played for the team and I hope he can break his duck Saturday. If he continues like this, the goals will come,” he said.
