What’s the story?
Adam Lallana has been sent to a specialist clinic in Qatar in order to boost his injury recovery, according to the Daily Mail.
In case you didn’t know…
Following the thigh injury Lallana suffered in August, the Liverpool midfielder has not played a single game this season and the Reds are looking to get him back as soon as possible.
The midfielder last played in pre-season, getting 46 minutes under his belt in the Reds 3-0 friendly win over Hertha Berlin.
There is still no set return date for the Englishman, although a target of mid-November is realistic for Lallana.
The heart of the matter
The Aspire Facility in Qatar will be hoping to get Lallana back onto the pitch as quickly as possible, with the progress for the ruptured tendon in his left thigh already going well.
Lallana has recently returned to gym work and running routines thanks to his recovery developing well so far.

However, the 29-year-old won’t be solely focused on returning for the Reds, with a chance to represent England in the World Cup this summer likely being a high priority for him.
He will be looking to get back to fitness as soon as possible to give himself enough chance to impress boss Gareth Southgate and secure himself a seat on the plane to Russia.
Impact
Liverpool and England have badly missed Lallana and they'll both be hoping to get him back to full fitness as soon as possible.
