Diego Costa may not have found many fans after his antics against Liverpool in the Capital One Cup which could see him get a 3-match ban. The Brazilian-born Spanish striker first stepped on the ankle of Emre Can when the Liverpool player was lying on the touchline.
He also stamped Martin Skrtel in a similar manner before getting into an altercation with Reds captain Steven Gerrard. Costa had grabbed Gerrard’s face and the pair had to be restrained by their teammates before things got out of hand.
And soon after the game, AFC Wimbledon striker Adebayo ‘The Beast’ Akinfenwa took to his Instagram account to send Costa a message. He said, “Be careful” or Akinfenwa would “come for you”. He also said that if Costa had issues with Gerrard again, “we gonna have a problem”.
Now, if this was any other footballer, Costa wouldn’t be too worried. But even though it was in jest, the Chelsea striker may not want to mess with The Beast who is also the strongest player in FIFA 15.
