From the Brazilian themed samba pack to the predatory battle pack, Adidas have been releasing colourway updates constantly and continuously. The latest addition to the cast is the new “Solar Slime” adiZero F50.
The latest Adidas adiZero F50 has been receiving loads of attention over the past couple of weeks. It has been the noticeable performance of Real Madrid Striker, Karim Benzema, that has the fans talking and the boots grabbing all the attention.
The colourway was officially released as Solar Slime/Black/Vivid Berry, featuring a lot of pop thanks to the lively mix of samba colours. Similar models have been released before, namely the Adidas Copa Mundial and the Adidas Nitrocharge, the primary difference being the Vivid Berry detailing, created specifically to produce an impact through the laces. All of the releases so far have had a very sharp appearance, but there is something about the lightning fast F50 series in this colour tone that gives it a distinct and a more edgy feel.
Aside from the cosmetic changes, it’s the same great F50 adiZero, build for blistering speeds. Weighing in at just 165gm, the adiZero is one of the fastest and lightest boots available in the market. The adiZero is essential for players who want to quicken their footwork and accelerate with the ball.
Several aspects of the boots have been altered and it only adds to the overall value to an already top notch boot. One significant change is the addition of SpeedFoil around the heel region and the removal of SprintWeb from inside the boot. It proves the amount of work adidas has dedicated to this series and it pays off.
The Sprintskin ( a single layer synthetic ) upper drastically reduces the adiZero’s weight while the SprintWeb ( a 3D texture and finish on the upper ) technology results in quicker cuts and excellent stability in high-speed dribbling with a durable strike zone. The inner SprintWeb band construction offers increased stability in lateral and medial movements.
Inside the boot, a soft suede material has been placed in the forefoot region along with a light layer of padding behind it, making the boot very comfortable to use. It’s fantastic that even with all these additions, the boot remains at a mere 165gm.
Headlined by the one and only Lionel Messi the F50 adiZero is one of the most popular silos on the market today, also worn by the likes of Arjen Robben, Robin Van Persie, Bastian Schweinsteiger and the ever so popular Luis Suarez. When so many famous stars wear it to the field, one can be sure of its quality and performance, it is also evident that they are all attacking players who like to score goals. This is whom the boot is designed to suit most. To fly beyond fast and score goals aggressively. If you are like or aspire to be one of them, look no further because this is the boot for you and the new colourway adds a touch of elegance to the already great piece of art that is the new F50 adiZero.
