Rabiot was presented to the media on Tuesday, after completing his free transfer move from Paris Saint-Germain the previous evening.
Rabiot spent last season with Buffon at PSG and they could be teammates again if the goalkeeper rejoins Juventus for what would be an 18th season at the Serie A side.
The 24-year-old, who called new teammate Ronaldo a 'great champion,' said Buffon had helped him make the decision to move.
"Buffon told me many interesting things about Juventus. He told me that Juve was the best way for me to take a step forwards in my career. A season here is worth more than anywhere else," he said.
