Indian Football Team bashed past Macau national team in an enthralling AFC Asian Cup Qualifier match as the hosts trounced the visitor's 4-1, ensuring a spot in the 2019 AFC Asian Cup.
Bengaluru FC's home ground witnessed an electrifying battle between both sides, but it was Indians who were dominating the game. Let's take a look at how Indian players performed against Macau.
Gurpreet Singh Sandhu - 6.5
The Bengaluru FC goal keeper had a decent game tonight. The former Stabaek player was barely tested by the Macanese attackers, but he failed to thwart the Nicholas Tarrao header, which found the net, helping Macau equalise in the first half.
Sandesh Jhingan - 7
The Kerala Blasters' stalwart was consistent at the back. He was up to the mark in denying the Macanese attack with his strong headers, fierce tackles. Although, he was rarely tested, the future captain displayed a promising game.

Right full back Narayan Das had a fair game. He was able to bomb down the wings and he certainly whipped the balls into the Macanese box.

Acting as the linchpin, Rowlin Borges had a brilliant game against Macau. He scored the opener for India, and later went on to dominate the Macanese defenders for the rest of the match.
Jackichand Singh - 6.5
A constant threat as a left midfielder, Jackichand Singh was aggressive in the first half. A player blessed with quick pace and elegant play, Jackichand had a decent game but was unable to distribute the play he build accurately to the attackers.
Eugenson Lyngdoh - 6.5
The ATK midfield maestro, Eugenson was regular in the Indian midfield and plies his valuable trade in the center of the pitch, helping India dominate the game. He often marched toward the attacking third with the ball and made few attempts, as well as provided the attackers with swirling passes.
Halicharan Narzary - 7.5
Halicharan Narzary was in command of Indian midfield. He dictated the game with dazzling passes and agile play.
His cross into the Macanese box got deflected, helping India increase their tally into 3. Halicharan had a good day in the office as India sealed their spot in AFC Cup 2019.
Sunil Chhetri - 8

The Mizo sniper had managed to perform brilliantly for India. A regular peril with his pace and skills, Jeje played an integral part in breaking down the Macau defence. He scored with a tap-in as Sunil Chhetri's brilliant assist found Jeje and there were no obstacles that could prevent Jeje from scoring.
Balwant Singh - 8
Coming as a substitute, Balwant Singh was in fire for India throughout the second half. The Mumbai City star attacker's arrival brought in a lot of momentum to the Indian attacks.
Balwant Singh provided the assist for the Sunil Chhetri goal and was an annoying presence for the Macau defenders. Bringing in Balwant gave India the physical advantage over the Macau defenders.
