Dynamo Kiev defender Aleksandar Dragovic has said that he is happy to be playing for the Ukranian club and is not concerned about other clubs showing an interest in signing him unless there is something concrete.
Reports indicate that Manchester United were looking to get the 24-year-old Austrian to Old Trafford and another report in the Nachrichten indicate that as many as 23 clubs, including the likes of United, Borussia Dortmund etc are interested in acquiring his services and had sent their scouts to Vienna, during Austria’s match against Bosnia-Herzegovina.
"I feel very, very good at Kiev. Facts matter to me, and as long as there is nothing ready to sign on the table, any thoughts about it are pointless. You need to have the feeling that they [interest clubs] really want you. That's the most important thing,” Dragovic said.
He joined the club in 2013 from Basel and has a contract with them till 2018 and has played a critical role in the side remaining unbeaten in the Ukranian Premier League this season.
Not thinking a lot about the transfer rumours: Dragovic
The centre-back, who has also been linked with Arsenal, had said that news regarding a potential transfer don’t affect him a great deal and added that he hasn't had a look at the clubs who are looking a bit shaky defensively.
"Such things don't leave me cold. Not yet, but I could do that in the future! No, seriously, I know which lads are playing centre-back for the top clubs and how the competition [for places] would look but, before I study the transfer market, I'd rather buy new perfume," he told Die Presse.
