All India Invitational Prize Money Football: Lajong blank Dynamo to advance to the final

In the first semi-final of the All India Invitational Prize Money Football tournament at Golaghat, Shillong Lajong FC (Academy) defeated Dynamo Club Guwahati 4-0 to seal a place in the final. The tournament is organised by Golaghat District Sports Association.

Lajong got the first goal in the 33rd minute of the match through Lalingmang Kiteng. He found the back of the net with a powerful volley. In the 79th minute of the match, Labamunna scored another to extend Lajong’s lead.

Lajong got their their third goal in the 85th minute when T. Bipin Singh scored a beautiful goal. And in the 87th minute, W. Angsona Lwang scored another to make it 4-0.

In the second semifinal today, Mohan Bagan Academy, Kolkata will face Oil India FC, Duliajan.
