Cash rich Real Madrid C.F. reportedly wants to sign Spanish striker Alvaro Negredo from Manchester City as a replacement Alvaro Morata as reported by The Metro UK.
According to the source, the La Liga giants believe that Negredo could be a perfect fit in their squad, albeit Negredo himself admitted that he does not want to leave City as he is happy to continue for another season. He was previously linked with a move to Diego Simeone’s Athletico Madrid for a reported £12m transfer fee.
Alvaro Negredo has already played for Sevilla in the La Liga previously and had joined Manchester City last summer, scoring 23 goals in his first season; the talented striker could arguably fit the Los Blancos attack perfectly.
