What’s the story? If Cabaye needed an excuse to work his way out of Newcastle and back to France Kinnear presented it to him on a plate. Calling him Yohan ‘Kebab’ in a radio interview in England oozed disrespect.Does it make sense? Yes. It’s horrible having someone not bother to learn your name, let alone comparing you to a greasy foodstuff. Also football wise, Champions League with PSG and in 2014/15 Monaco or another relegation battle at soon to be turmoil struck Newcastle?Is the price right? Newcastle seem to want £23-25m which is insane but then they are negotiating with two French moneybags’ with motive to sign him.Will it happen? 9/10: PSG – regardless of the fact they don’t need him, they do need to make a splash signing to keep momentum up. 5/10: Monaco – No immediate Champions League football.
