West Brom are hoping to sign Udinese striker Matej Vydra on a season-long loan deal. The Czech Republic international, 21, scored 20 goals during a loan spell at Watford last season and has also been linked with Swansea and Sunderland.

What’s the story? For anyone wondering about Vydra I can tell you this. He 100% won’t be going on loan to any club in the entire world that isn’t Watford or Granada. Selling is another question, but there is literally no chance of a loan.
Does it make sense? Vydra has two years left on his contract, so loaning him would be completely illogical for Udinese as it will obliterate his sale value. Udinese live to sell, so that is not an option. He went to Watford to try and get them promoted, but also to boost his value.
Is the price right? Italian press believe they’d sell for between £7-8 million. He’s not worth that, but someone will probably pay it.
Will it happen? 0/10 – Loan 8/10 – Sale
