Manchester United’s Anderson who now plays for Fiorentina in Serie A as a part of a loan deal until the end of the season, dropped a huge bombshell for United fans, claiming many of his ex-teammates want out from the Old Trafford club.
Anderson was amongst a large number of departees from United this January and has given an inside of United’s dressing room situation. Anderson told press prior to 4th place Fiorentina’s loss to Cagliari that many are seeking to get out of Old Trafford, specifically mentioning Nani who is currently out because of a hamstring injury and was heavily rumored to be joining Inter Milan in the January window.
Nani like Anderson hasn’t been able to live up to United’s standards and inconsistent performances have limited starts for the Portuguese winger. Anderson’s revelation gives an indication of a possible massive overhaul of players at Old Trafford.
“I’m sure that lots of players want out, especially people like myself and Nani, who have been in Manchester for seven or eight years. Manchester United is a huge club, a club that does everything for its players but sometimes a footballer wants to leave just to experience a different way to play football, to learn something as well.”
This doesn’t come much of a surprise to United fans, who are witnessing average displays from a number of players which have left the club in turmoil.
