German club Bayer Leverkusen have agreed to sell Andre Schurrle to Chelsea.
Leverkusen’s general manager, Wolfgang Holzhauser, confirmed that a deal has been concluded between the sides which will see Schurrle depart for the Premier League in the off-season with Kevin De Bruyne moving to Leverkusen on loan as part of the deal.
Schurrle has been impressive for Leverkusen, netting 11 goals this season. He will surely make a valuable addition to the Chelsea line up.
“We have reached an agreement with Chelsea,” Holzhauser told The Rheinische Post.
“They are going to buy Andre Schurrle for a specific fee and, in return, they will loan De Bruyne to us for a year for free.
“I expect Chelsea to stand by what has been agreed.”
