The highly talented artist and filmmaker Richard Swarbrick has done it again! Remember his wonderful illustration of Netherlands’ 5-1 thrashing of Spain at the 2014 FIFA World Cup and the beautiful sketchbook animation of Cristiano Ronaldo's journey from Manchester United to Real Madrid?
This time, teaming up with Dave Flanagan, it’s Manchester United’s new signing Anthony Martial who has been captured in such vivid detail in an animated video showcasing his exploits with the Red Devils in the past one month. The 19-year-old French striker’s signing created waves when the Old Trafford club spent £36m to sign him from AS Monaco.
Compared to Thierry Henry in his younger days, even the Arsenal legend himself and Gary Neville doubted he was worth the money. But all doubts have been cast aside after he scored four goals in all competitions for United.
He kicked things off in style with a debut goal against Liverpool in the derby at Old Trafford – picturized in the video with the help of Shwapsies stickers. Even his brace against Southampton when United won 3-2 is also illustrated in the video.
