The Spurs fans expected a similar sort of performance from them against an Arsenal side who are in a transitional phase under Unai Emery. But the Gunners came into the game with an 18-match unbeaten streak in all competitions, looking to make it 19 in a row.
Once Arsenal got the lead through Aubameyang, Tottenham hit back immediately - first through Dier and then a penalty converted by Harry Kane. That was the best phase for the Spurs throughout the game.

In the second half, Arsenal were miles ahead and looked more desperate for a win, and that showed in the scoreline.
